Born in Rimouski, Guy Lamarre works
in visual arts in parallel with his carreer since 20
years. Most of his works is done using the art of stainglasses
and metal sculptures.
The concept and realization of his artwork comes from
imagination , legends or simply his own interpretation
of reality... quite often in an...amusing way.
To build his sculptures, he uses mostly metal: iron
is bent, cut, pierced, textured, assem bled, welded,
cleaned, grinded and/or polished.
