JACQUES DE BLOIS

Born in 1932, architect by profession but artist by nature, Jacques de Blois now dedicates himself to the canvas rather than the blueprint. Freed from the realities of cement and brick, he now devotes himself to Dream Architecture. With the strokes of his paintbrush, Jacques de Blois interprets the architecture of Québec's old villages.

His works are exhibited in several galleries of Québec and private collections in Canada, US and Europe. His architectural accomplishments include the historic Quartier Petit Champlain in Québec City, and the Québec's Pavilions in the international Expo in Japan in 1970, and in Vancouver in 1986.

He studied art at the Montréal's École des Beaux-Arts, and under renown artists in Québec and France. This blend of artistic and architectural talents forms the brillance of Jacques de Blois.
